Hello. My name is Joanna, and Starboard Media UK is my portfolio.

I was always creative when I was little; either drawing, painting or writing… then came computers and the internet. I’ve been web designing and coding for a few years now and I established myself as a full time freelancer in October 2008. I’m a self taught web designer and I constantly learn new skills and ways to be creative. Most importantly, I love what I do.

In addition to working with clients at Starboard, I’m the project manager and lead web designer for Luibh Design & Development.

In close competition with my love of design is my passion for film. I graduated with a degree in Film Production and Media Studies, and went on to work as a Production and Edit Assistant at Big Wave Productions. I’ve continued producing and working on various short films ever since.

Most recently I produced ‘Me and My Wacky Doctor,’ a short silent comedy, funded by The British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust.

My other interests include photography, surfing, horse riding, comic books and gaming which I tend to natter about on Twitter quite a lot.
