What is a Content Management System?
Also described as CMS, this system will enable a client to update content on their website. This varies from one off blog style pages, to larger systems so you can manage your entire website content.
Do you provide hosting and domans?
Starboard Media UK does not provide this, as there are plenty of great providers out there, but we will provide you with support on setting it up.
Is my host suitable?
Our website are built with PHP, and not all hosts support this with their basic packages. Ensure that the package you buy supports PHP. If your package does not support PHP, and you do not wish to upgrade, please inform us in the design process and we can use an alternative method*.
*If you wish to incorporate a Content Management System, then your host will need to support PHP.
What options are there with images for my project?
Images are a major part of a design project, the more we are provided with, the better. There are a few options.
- You can provide your own images for use on the project, and for incorporating into the design.
- You can purchase royalty free images from many online image libraries, we can help you do this.
- We can source a photographer in order to get specific images.
NOTICE: Starboard Media UK will not use images that to not adhere to copyright laws. They must be original, or purchased.
