What is Portsmouth Freelancer’s Meet?
It’s a monthly gathering for web designers, web developers, film makers, writers… basically anyone creative.
When is it?
2nd Tuesday of every month. The dates for the next 6 months in 2011 are:
- 8th February
- 8th March
- 12th April
- 10th May
- 14th June
- 12th July
Where is it?
We meet upstairs at the Wine Vaults on Albert Road.
Do I have to be a freelancer?
Nope! We have people from agencies and companies come along too, it was just the name we came up with.
What happens at these meetups?
A group of likeminded individuals come together, have a few drinks in an informal environment, make friends and talk shop. Just think of it as the office drinks after work for those who don’t have an office.
Why is it not fortnightly anymore?
Because some people were coming 1 week, and others were coming ta fortnight after, this way we can all meet together once a month 
It also ties in with the monthly gatherings that Heart & Sole will be hosting.

Why have I only just found you?? Been wondering for ages if something like this was happening in Portsmouth! And here you are
Seem to have just missed this months meet up but I’ll certainly aim to be at the next, and bring some colleagues.
